My daughter and I stayed one night in a double Queen room on Wednesday April 17th, 2024. The hotel lobby is beautiful, check in was smooth and friendly, our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The decor was very neutral not spectacular but very pleasant. Issues mentioned in negative reviews: Valet parking was taken care of quickly and the staff was very friendly. I especially liked the option to use my smartphone to request the car at a convenient time for me and the car was ready 10 minutes earlier than I requested. Of course it was 9:00 a.m. on a weekday so the day and time you request may affect results. I barely noticed a chlorine smell in the lobby and only when I walked around the corner towards the pool area . The elevators were all working. This is an excellent hotel for an event at Budweiser Gardens, it's an easy half mile walk.

Our family of four stayed at the Delta Armouries for one night in June 2023 while visiting some friends in London. I had very high hopes for this hotel as it is a Delta so we payed a premium for what I consider London ON prices. I was unfortunately slightly underwhelmed by the hotel. Outside it very cool looking as it looks like a castle and inside is very interesting in the pool area but the photos I saw looked like there was a hot tub but when we arrived the hot tub was bricked over. I'm not sure how long it had been that way but it was a little disappointing as was expecting that. The room was mediocre clean, though it was updated and the beds were very comfortable. I give it a three, it wasn't terrible and there are lots of interesting little nocks to explore but I'd say for the price the expectations were higher than what I recieved.

Pathetic, vehicle smashed while valet parked nobody told me nobody will call me back. Pathetic

I stayed here for 11 nights. Why is this review so awful? It’s $40 to park as they only have valley parking. When I got the vallet to retrieve my vehicle I got in and noticed my back window was smashed. The vallet said they didn’t notice. I needed to go somewhere and was unable to. I was told the manager would call me asap. I took my vehicle to get fixed as nobody would respond to me. After 28 hours I pressed hard and finally got in contact with a manager. The manager advised they were still looking at the video. He told me he would email me I. The weekend. This was on March 14. I have yet to hear from them. I have left voicemails and keep getting told somebody will call but nobody will. Items were stolen from the back of my vehicle and I couldn’t even get the hotel to cooperate on simple requests so I could make a police report. Essentially I had to pay to to park my vehicle in an unsafe area where it got smashed, they called who “monitor” the cameras didn’t catch it and nobody will call me back. Imagine paying to get your vehicle smashed and then paying for that as well. Completely inexcusable behaviour from the hotel and vallets. Zero accountability. I had booked other hotels with bonvoy for my future business travels and all have been cancelled. Embarrassing behaviour by them.

Going Downhill Fast

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel multiple times as our child goes to university in London. This hotel used to be great but has been going downhill rapidly. For at least a year one of the main 2 elevators has been broken. Many people end up using the service elevator as a back up but when it’s busy it can take 20 minutes for an elevator. On our last stay a staff member was riding in the elevator to prevent kids from pushing all the buttons. There is no longer parking unless you valet for an exorbitant cost. The city tickets vehicles between 3-5am which is not posted anywhere. We were directed to an inconvenient lot which ended up being full so the only option was the costly valet which had a 30 minute wait to get the car the next day. They boasted saying their city was becoming like London UK. It seems the hotel now caters to young sports teams with kids running everywhere, monopolizing the pool/hot tub area, busy elevators with kids thinking it’s funny to press the button for every floor, excessive hallway noise throughout the night. We had an issue getting a proper receipt showing our stay for points and a zero balance after paying with a Marriott gift card. No one could figure it out and it took my husband tons of time on the phone to get it once we’d returned home. We’re going to find another hotel next visit.

I have stayed at this location many times. Typically, I gush over the service excellence. Unfortunately, those days are over. Check-in was sort of okay. The team members left me with the impression that their job and key customer interaction was a joke. I called for extra towels, and it took over twelve minutes on hold for someone to pick up the phone. This was after I called on the hotel's room phone and then called from my cellphone. My room was not very clean. The comforter had stains on it. The pillow cases were worn out. They chose to go to a valet parking system costing double the previous parking price. The professionalism and courtesy of the parking attendants were atrocious. The saving grace was the restaurant's service level. Not sure why their is such a drastic decline in service. I hope they figure it out.
